The responsibilities of the associate director, college student life include the supervision of the residential life, housing, and non-academic judicial affairs. The associate director, college student life works in collaboration with college staff, the provost, and students, forming a team that provides you with a dynamic living environment at stevenson college and UCSC.

As the assistant to the senior director, college student life , I provide administrative support to the csenior director, college student life for both cowell and stevenson colleges. As the reservations coordinator for cowell and stevenson colleges, I am the main point of contact for all reservations and inquiries regarding the stevenson event center.

I manage most of the reservable rooms at the two colleges and oversee the cowell and stevenson tech crew. Contact me for any information about our reservable rooms. As stevenson’s CAPC, I support the provost by coordinating academic programs and courses, academic standing, as well as academic honors and awards. Additionally, I provide support for the many academic and cultural programs, events, and student projects that the provost sponsors each the year. Please feel free to pop by my office and say hello.

As an adviser, I provide assistance in academic planning, administrative policies and procedures and assist students in utilizing the resources and opportunities available on campus. I also work collaboratively with staff of various units to develop and implement events and programs geared to enhancing academic and personal success.

I believe in community, connections, and compassion and have a passion for working with students and supporting them in reaching their desired goals, educational and otherwise. As an advisor, I assist with navigating a student through academic planning, policies, and procedures here at UCSC. I am a huge advocate of participation inside and outside a student’s comfort zone. I value developing collaborative relationships with students where both adviser and student are contributors to a students journey here at UCSC. I am devoted to empowering students by creating an advising environment that not only promotes learning and responsibility but also exploration, bravery, and collaboration.

As the college programs coordinator, I oversee the stevenson programs office and supervise the programs assistants, as well as advise the stevenson student council. The programs office plans college-wide events such as college nights, workshops, and social events. I assist the associate CAO and coordinate roommate assignments, meal plan changes, room switches, key replacements, check-in and check-out procedures, house inspections, and general office assistance. The residential life and housing office is here to support the academic goals of the students in a positive learning and living environment. I supervise the day-to-day operation of the stevenson coffee house. I have 25-30 student employees that serve specialty coffees, homemade baked goods soups, salads, and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The coffee house is home to lively music, informal student/faculty interactions, biweekly art shows and more. I can be reached for catering, comments, compliments and any feed back monday through friday at (831) 459-2433.

I am a licensed psychologist with experience helping students with a variety of concerns. I tailor my approach to suit the needs and personality of each student. I enjoy helping students learn about themselves and feel more self-accepting, as well as collaborating with them to plan for change and growth. Areas of special interest for me include drug and alcohol issues, gender and sexuality, the arts, popular culture, and personal growth. I am available to consult with stevenson residential life and other staff, faculty, students, and family members about mental health issues and services and am happy to discuss partnering with university staff and students on workshops and other educational services. As an EOP counselor, I aid in facilitating students’ academic, social, and personal transitions/adjustments to the university. It is my goal to see EOP students become "B or better scholars." EOP values the different aspects of a student’s life and are concerned with how these aspects affect their academic success. Some aspects may include: lifestyle, cultural values, and relationships.

EOP academic counselors are available by appointment to meet individually with you to discuss personal and academic issues. We can connect you with appropriate resources, as well as counsel you through your personal concerns that may be negatively effecting your academic success.
