The graduate gem scholarship waives the full-time nonresident portion of tuition* for out-of-state and international graduate students. Qualified students who attended boise state as an undergraduate are eligible for a graduate gem scholarship, even if they received gem support as an undergraduate student. Graduate gem recipients are still responsible for resident fees; this represents a savings of approximately $16,000/year.

Apply: please click here to visit the graduate gem scholarship application page. Graduate gem scholarship recipients are selected from qualified applicants. If you are admitted into an eligible graduate program and selected for a graduate gem scholarship award, the graduate college will notify the financial aid office, which makes the scholarship offer to you.

Note: students who receive a graduate assistantship with a tuition waiver will have their graduate gem scholarship replaced by the assistantship because the latter covers all tuition and fees while the graduate gem scholarship waives only out-of-state tuition. For more information please visit the graduate college website.
