The GHS all sports booster club is hosting their 8th annual red raider oyster roast at fluor field to support over 800 athletes from greenville high.

“A program like ours takes a true partnership between our school, district, parents, and community to provide an outstanding experience for our student-athletes,” says greenville high academy principal jason S.Fields ensure warren. “I hope the community will see this event as an opportunity to make a real difference in the level of support our athletes can receive and as an opportunity to partner with our school in those efforts.”

Tickets include all-you-can-eat oysters, barbecue, fried okra, and other fixings from blockhouse restaurant and oyster bar. Domestic beers and italian wines will also be available for partygoers to enjoy.

For entertainment, retro vertigo and second nature will perform live music for the evening. Participants can also take part in a large silent auction featuring pieces from local artists.

Prizes of all kinds can be won at raffles and a 54 card draw raffle including the chance to win a trip for two to napa valley and a week at lake keowee. Doors open to jam nation members at 3:30 p.M., and general doors open at 5 p.M. The entry fee is a $15 donation at the door. Arrive early to get the best seats.

Each year at sunset park, the mauldin recreation department hosts this special easter event. This year’s seventh annual community egg drop will be held on march 24. The event features thousands of eggs stuffed with fun toys and candy for children that are dropped from a helicopter hundreds of feet in the air.Greenville high the children run out into the field to collect as many eggs as they can.

This event attracts thousands of children each year, so make sure to arrive early. This is a free event and included is a free hot dog for children with wristbands. There will also be several other fun events that day, including inflatables, face painting, games, and music.

The event will have different time slots for different ages of children. At 1 p.M. The 0-2-year-old egg hunt will take place on miracle league field. At 2:30 p.M., the preschool through K-5 egg hunt will take place on fields 3 and 4. Ensure that you arrive at the field by 2 p.M.
